Pumpkin Hummus

Here's an easy appetizer for your Fall party or Thanksgiving dinner Recipe by Laura Bashar of Family Spice



  1. Purée until smooth in a food processor:
    • 1/3 cup tahini
    • 1/4 cup lemon juice
    • 2 garlic cloves
    • 2 TBS extra virgin olive oil
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/8 tsp black pepper, ground
    • 3/4 cup pumpkin purée
    • 15 oz cannellini beans, canned , drained & rinsed
  2. Spread hummus into a shallow serving bowl and garnish if you choose with:
    • 1/8 tsp cinnamon, ground
  3. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
