Garlic Lovers Hummus

If you aren't a garlic lover, you soon will be after you had this creamy hummus! Recipe by Laura Bashar of Family Spice



  1. Purée until smooth in a food processor:
    • 40 oz garbanzo beans, canned , drained and rinsed
    • 6 garlic cloves
    • 3/4 cup lemon juice
    • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp black pepper, ground
    • 2/3 cup tahini
  2. Spread hummus into a shallow serving bowl and garnish with:
    • 8 kalamata olives
    • 1 TBS extra virgin olive oil
    • 1/2 tsp mint, dried
  3. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
