    Almond Reicpes

    Almonds are not only a very healthy nut, they are also very versatile in cooking. I bake with almond slivers and almond meal, making them perfect for people following a low carb diet. These Paleo Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars are not only delicious but also low in sugar and carbs.

    Persians eat the young and raw green almond, which have a sour flavor. My recipe for Persian Green Almond Stew (Khoresh Chaghaleh Badoom) is a great example of how to cook with green almonds.

    One of my favorite dessert recipes that uses almond meal is my Persian Baklava Cake with Almonds and Rosewater.
