4ozkalestalk removed
2ozwalnuts
1large sprig of tarragon
1lemonzest and juice
1garlic clove
⅓cupextra virgin olive oil
¼cupParmesan cheesegrated

Instructions
In a food processor with a steel blade combine kale, walnuts, tarragon, lemon zest and juice and garlic. Purée until almost smooth.
While the machine is running, pour in olive oil.
Transfer pesto to a bowl and stir in Parmesan by hand.
Refrigerate pesto until ready to use.

Serving Suggestions: Serve with pasta for a meal, spread on a baguette for an appetizer, or top your steak, chicken or fish as a condiment! Cooking Tips: This pesto recipe calls for minimal olive oil. You can add more to your taste. Choose high quality olive oil to enhance the flavor.
