Gingerbread Cookies


These gingerbread olive oil cookies will soon become a regular in your holiday baking repertoire. And this gingerbread man recipe is made without butter!

All purpose flour Ginger Cinnamon Nutmeg Cloves Kosher salt Baking soda Baking powder Brown sugar Molasses Egg Olive oil

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, spices, baking soda and baking powder.

In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine brown sugar, molasses and olive oil.

Gradually add flour mixture into the molasses mixture.

Continue mixing until dough starts to form and clump together.

Gently knead dough to form a round disk.

Roll out dough and cut into desired shapes.

Bake at 350ºF (177ºC) for about 10 minutes.

Enjoy as is or decorate with royal icing.
