Homemade Lilac Syrup

Lilacs are not only fragrant, but also edible. Just use organic pesticide-free lilacs.

This lilac simple syrup recipe makes a stunning addition to your cocktails, lemonade or baked goods.

• Water • Granulated sugar • Lilac blossoms • Blueberries (for color)

Combine ingredients in a pot and simmer for about 20 minutes.

Strain out the solids and let the syrup cool.

Seal in a jar or bottle. Syrup will keep in the refrigerator like this for up to one month
