Persian Yogurt Spinach Dip
Made with onions, spinach and garlic, this delicious Borani Esfenaj (Persian Yogurt Spinach Dip) makes a great snack or appetizer.
Ingredients you need
Sauté chopped onions in olive oil in a frying pan.
Mix in spinach and garlic and cook until spinach is wilted. Remove from heat and let it cool.
In a bowl combine cooled spinach mix with yogurt, salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours prior to serving.
When ready to serve, transfer to serving bowl and garnish with walnuts.
