Pomegranate Smoothie

Pomegranate juice is jam-packed with vitamins and antioxidants, and a perfect candidate for a healthy & delicious smoothie! Recipe by Laura Bashar of Family Spice



  1. In a blender combine until smooth:
    • 1 cup yogurt, plain Greek
    • 3/4 cup pomegranate juice
    • 1 TBS honey
    • 1 small banana
  2. Pour smoothie into two glasses and serve.

Serving Suggestions: You can also use vanilla flavored yogurt, too.

You can also substitute honey with pomegranate molasses. The amount you use is dependent on how sweet you like your smoothie.

Cooking Tips: If you do have some smoothie left over, make smoothie pops! Pour into small 3-5 oz. paper cups, stick a popsicle stick in it and freeze! Popsicles will be ready in 4-6 hours. If you're not going to eat them within 24 hours, put popsicles in a plastic freezer bag.
