Instructions:

1. Prepare and bake in any size pan:
• 1 box of chocolate cake mix
• 1 box of white cake mix
2. Prepare and chill:
• 4 oz box of vanilla instant pudding mix
3. Crumble in small batches in a blender or food processor:
• ¹/₂ lb white sandwich cookies
4. Set aside all but about 1/4 cup of cookie crumbs.
5. For the 1/4 cup of crumbs, add and mix until completely colored:
• 4 drops green food coloring
6. When cakes are cooled to room temperature, crumble into a large bowl.
7. Toss with half the remaining white cookie crumbs and the chilled pudding. Important: mix in just enough of the pudding to moisten it. You don't want it too soggy. Combine gently.
8. Put half of the cake/pudding/cookie mixture into a brand new litter box.
9. Place in a microwave safe dish and heat until soft and pliable:
• 3 small tootsie roll candies
10. Shape ends so they are no longer blunt, curving slightly.
11. Repeat with:
• 3 tootsie roll candies
12. Bury them into the cake mixture.
13. Sprinkle the other half of cookie crumbs over top.
14. Scatter the green cookie crumbs lightly on top of everything. This is supposed to look like the chlorophyll in real kitty litter.
15. Place in a microwave safe dish and heat until almost melted:
• 3 small tootsie roll candies
16. Scrape them on top of the cake and sprinkle lightly with some more of the green cookie crumbs.
17. Place in a microwave safe dish and heat until soft and pliable:
• 3 small tootsie roll candies
18. Shape ends so they are no longer blunt, curving slightly.
19. Spread all but one randomly over top of cake mixture.
20. Sprinkle with any remaining cookie crumbs.
21. Hang the remaining tootsie roll over the side of litter box and sprinkle with a few green cookie crumbs.
22. Place litter box over some newspaper and serve with a brand new pooper scooper.
