Watermelon Margarita
A sweet & sour twist on the classic margarita. Recipe by Laura Bashar of Family Spice
Ingredients:
- 4 cup seedless watermelon, chopped
- 3/4 cup tequila
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 1/2 cup Triple Sec
- 4 seedless watermelon, wedge
Instructions:
- Place in a ziploc bag and freeze until solid:
- 4 cup seedless watermelon , chopped
- Place the frozen watermelon to a blender and add:
- 3/4 cup tequila
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 1/2 cup Triple Sec
- Blend until smooth.
- Divide evenly into 4 margarita glasses and garnish with:
- 4 seedless watermelon , wedge

Serving Size:
1 glass
Serving Suggestions: Serve the margaritas with or without salt on the rim. If you have a sweet tooth, try sugar on the rim of the glass. How do they get it to stick to the rim of your glass? Have a small plate of salt handy and wet the rim down with a wet towel or a 1/4 of a lime. Dip the rim into the salt or sugar.
